Changes to Means of Grace, Hope of Glory

We’re making some changes.
1. All the existing posts are in two locations
a. The CongregationalDevelopment.com site. Several years ago the content of those years of the blog was turned over to the Order of the Ascension

b. On the OA site http://www.orderoftheascension.org/means-of-grace-hope-of-glory/
2. All that material will stay available at those locations.
3. We will not be adding new material for the foreseeable future
4. We'll disconnect from the NextDoor system later today.
5. If you want to stay connected.
It’s likely that “Means of Grace, Hope of Glory” will be started up again in the future. If you are using NextDoor to stay connected with the blog you’re invited to send me your name and email address. I’ll maintain that on a list we’ll use when the blog is reactivated, or some special posting is made. Send an email to ragodct@gmail.com If you are already on the non-NextDoor list there’s no need to send a message. You’re all set.
Why are we making the changes?
The Order of the Ascension is in the process of launching several new initiatives. For the next year or more we will be focusing on that work. Discontinuing the blog is one of several steps we’re taking to all that new focus.
What are current offerings I may want to take advantage of?
Become an Associate – We’re relaunching an associate membership with the Order that we ended several decades ago. You might want to take a look at becoming an Associate if you want a connection with OA that supports your spiritual life and interest in parish development. http://www.orderoftheascension.org/associates/
Shaping the Parish Resources – That’s a section of our website that provides hundreds of models, theory, and tools for the ministry of parish development. http://www.orderoftheascension.org/shaping-the-parish-resources
Books on Parish Development and the inner life – We are shifting Ascension Press books, so they are available through Amazon. Shaping the Parish training – We are exploring a new training offering. A two year program using Zoom. If we move forward with it, you can expect to hear something by this Spring.
